New Book(:

My new independant reading book is a book by Dr. Phil McGraw and it's called "Love Smart". The reason why I chose this book is because I enjoy watching Dr. Phil's show so I figured his book would be as great as his T.V show. Based on what I've read so far I can say reading this book is going to fill me with excitement and pleasure. I read that Love is a complicated heart disease that most people desire both physically and mentally. What I've also read so far is why some men are afraid of commitement.

My second independant reading book(:

The book I read "Tears for water",by Alicia Keys was an excellent book about poetry and lyrics. My favorite part of the book was called "Karma'' I really enjoyed reading this part of her lyrics because I myself believe that what comes around goes around. I admire the fact that Alicia while writing this book never held back with her emotions, many of the poetry she wrote was based on her personal life story and struggles. One of my other favorite sections from the book was called "Fallin" this section was about how she keeps falling in love with a man and it shocks her so much to know that she can love a man so much, although I can't really relate to falling in love hard like she did I acknowlegde the fact that she was kind enough to inform us about her personal life.

Carmen Rivas & Alicia Keys(;

My book has really no characters. However I can relate to Alicia the author in many ways. Alicia is a strong and independant woman, that I have always wanted to be. She's super nice and talented she can play many instruments, sing, act, model, and write amazing books, poems, and songs. Alicia and I both believe that it's better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for something you're not. Also Alicia and I are really good secret keepers to those who are good to us(:

Tears for water, Songbook of poems and lyrics, by Alicia Keys

My new independent reading book is by Alicia Keys, one of my favorite song artists. What I like about this book is that Alicia does not hold back and says everything she feels and has been through. I can honestly say Alicia is such a talented performer, author, and singer(: She has touched me deeply with her poems and continues to inspire me within everyday that I read her poems. I feel like her poems are something I can actually relate to in many ways.

Lauren Conrad(:

The book that I will most likey be reading is called Sugar and Spice:An L.A. Candy Novel, by Lauren Conrad.The reasons to why I chose this book is because I absolutely love Lauren Conrad<33 I would watch all of her T.V shows wich were Laguna Beach and The Hills. I kind of miss her doing her shows but I know now she's doing much more better and big things. Also I want to get to know Lauren a bit more and see if she's a good author like how she is of an actress. I love Lauren Conrad's fashion sense and I want to see what she has in store for us in her new clothing line wich is adorable<3 Ahhhh! I'm so excitied to read this book=)
