"One of those hideous books where the mother dies" By Sonya Sones

"One of those hideous books where the mother dies", By Sonya Sones is a book I recently read. From a scale from 1-10, I would give this book a 7. The best theme to describe this book would be "Forgive and forget". In the story Ruby a fifteen year old teen who lives with her aunt is forced to move with her father, who abandonned her as soon as he found out her mother was pregnant to his home/ mansion in L.A, many teens would be excited to meet there father for the first time, however Ruby was devistated to go live with her father because her father is a top of the line celebrity who goes by the name "Whip Logan", so she imagined him to be very stuck up plus she was still hurt about the fact that he left her, however Ruby agreed to go because she knew her mother, which is dead would be proud of her and would appreciate her doing this. In they story Ruby learns how to get along with her father and developes a better relationship with him because of her attitude adjustment.
